Once we got home she ate and drank, was fine. June 3, 2016: Top of the Rock, did not start, gut sounds were a C evening before the ride, and degraded to C- the morning of, so I told them I wasn't starting. Her sodium level was borderline low, need to supplement? Bloodwork followed and cleared to continue riding one week later. May: completed INDY, but had post ride complication from low calcium.
March-April: Added trotting and started hillwork. Had her checked the next morning to see if things had righted, and she was worse. JTop of the Rock (I am cursed by this ride!) Vet in, gut sounds C. Journey completed but post ride had some issues with low calcium. attempted a 50 at Top of the Rock, the horse did great.but the rider got heat exhaustion and rider optioned with ice packs on "my" pulse points *LOL* Summer Breeze, 2014: 25 mile LD, ride time, finished sixth place.Ģ015 Indy on May 15-16th, LD both days, 7th and 8th place finishes. Indy 50, 2014: 50 mile endurance ride, ride time 8:44, back of the pack. Spook Run 2013: 50 mile endurance ride, ride time 9:05, Completed!
